Rossetti Matteo

Matteo is the founder of Thomson House School and its first Chair of Governors. Matteo studied in Milan and at St Edward’s School, Oxford, before graduating in Classics from Balliol College, Oxford University. After working in television managing international format franchises, Matteo begun his teaching career as a Classics teacher at the independent Harrodian School in London, where he quickly became Head of the Prep School. During a sabbatical spell in Jerusalem, Matteo worked with Hand in Hand School, the only Arab-Hebrew bilingual school in Israel, and begun a years long relationship with the Custody of the Holy Land focused on funding the Terra Sancta Museum in Jerusalem. Matteo founded Thomson House School in 2013 and has been its first Chair of Governors during which time he also obtained a PGDip in Education Leadership from University College London. Having lead the school to being awarded an ‘outstanding’ in all categories in the recent government inspection, the highest possible grade, Matteo is now leading the founding of two other free schools in London, Parks House School and Franklin House School.
