Roberto Ricci, a Research Executive at INVALSI, has been responsible for national assessments since 2008. He is the coordinator of the research area of the organization and has been involved in measuring learning outcomes through standardized tests for over twenty years. He is a member of the Governing Board of PISA, TALIS, the Strategic Development Group of PISA, and the General Assembly of IEA. In recent years, he has been involved in the nationwide implementation of important assessment tools in the education field. This includes the transition to computer-based testing (CBT) for INVALSI assessments, including an adaptive approach at the individual level (multistage adaptive testing).
