President of the VI Finance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.

A member of the Fronte della Gioventù, at the age of fifteen, he began his political career as a councilor with responsibilities for the Budget, Urban Security, Local Police, Relations with special companies of the Authority and Technological Innovation of the municipality of Trezzano sul Naviglio, remaining in office until 2004.

In the 2006 administrative elections he ran for the city council of Milan, being elected city councilor, holding the position of president of the Transport Council Commission until 2009, and being reconfirmed as city councilor in the 2011 electoral round with Il Popolo della Libertà (PdL).

In the 2018 political elections he was a candidate for the Chamber of Deputies, on the Fratelli lists, being elected deputy. In the early political elections of 2022 he was re-nominated for the Chamber, supported by the center-right coalition
