Federico Ferri began his career in the Italian press, first at Il Giornale, then for the newspapers Il Messaggero and Leggo, and finally Tuttosport. In 2005 he joined Sky as reporter and correspondent. Subsequently, his work focused increasingly more on managerial activities and editorial coordination of football events, until he took over the editorial responsibility for Football in 2011. At that time, he devised new formats and renewed the storytelling of various programmes of the network: Sky Sport Tech, Sky Calcio Live, Sky Calcio Club and Sky Calcio Show. Among other projects, he also worked on Buffa racconta and Mister Condò.
He is a columnist for Undici, a cultural sports project online and in print.
