Fazzini Lorenzo
Lombard, born in 1978, Lorenzo Fazzini has a resume as a professional journalist, translator and writer. Pope Francis called him in 2021 to lead the Vatican publishing house, LEV. This is not a new experience for Fazzini, who from 2012 to 2021 directed the Editrice missionaria italiana, the publishing house of the Italian missionary institutes. Under his direction, it has become a media company capable of producing, in addition to books, authorial events, editorial consultancy, catechetical exhibitions, theatrical performances, training webinars, educational workshops for teachers, refresher courses: a total of 250 events per year. He edited the 20-volume series Le parole di Papa Francesco published by Corriere della Sera and the anthology of Pope Francis La via di Gesù (Solferino).
Married and father of 4 children, Fazzini has been collaborating with the daily newspaper Avvenire and L’Osservatore Romano for several years. He is a columnist for Corriere del Veneto – Corriere del Trentino – Corriere di Bologna, local editions of Corriere della Sera. He is part of the editorial committee of the Turin International Book Fair as a consultant for the religious sector. He is also an author and consultant for television programs, among others, in collaboration with the director Pupi Avati.

For his journalistic and editorial works he has received the Ucsi Natale Journalism Award – Targa Athesis under 30, the Giorgio Fallani Journalism Award and the Capri San Michel Award.
