Ellsberg Robert

Editor-in-chief of Orbis Books, he graduated from Harvard in religion and literature and earned a master’s degree in theology from Harvard Divinity School.

He was editor-in-chief of The Catholic Worker for two years (1976 to 1978) working closely with Dorothy Day in the last years of her life. This experience prompted him to convert to Catholicism.

The author of several books, he is the editor of Dorothy Day’s diaries and letters.
