Donini Raffaele
Assessor for Health Policies of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
He was born in Bazzano, in the province of Bologna, in 1969. He holds a diploma and works as a freelance journalist. In 1995, he was elected mayor of Monteveglio, a position he held for the next ten years (reelected in 1999). He chaired the first Union of Municipalities in the region, which brought together the six administrations of the Samoggia Valley. He became a provincial councilor in 2005 and was reelected in 2009. In the current term, he served as president of the Democratic Party Group until his election as secretary of the Democratic Party of Bologna. In the X legislature, he served as Vice President and Councillor for Transport, Infrastructure Networks, Territorial Planning, and Digital Agenda of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
