Born in 1944, he is the president of Fondazione Don Lorenzo Milani . 

 Agostino Burberi’s life was marked by his meeting with Don Milani, by his participation in his school (he was one of the first six boys who attended it), and by his subsequent commitment to preserve his memory and spread his message. 

 “That 7 December 1954, the day that Don Lorenzo Milani entered Barbiana, I still remember very well. I was the first parishioner to meet him as he entered the church. I was there because I was an altar boy. Wasted no time. Shortly thereafter he proposed to his parents to start the school, which would later become the school of Barbiana”. 

 Today he lives in Legnano, where he animates the Foundation named after Don Lorenzo.
