Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Telecommunications of the Republic of San Marino since January 2020.
After a few years in the private sector, in 1997 he began his career at the Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino, holding the position of Head of various departments including the Treasury, Tax Collection, Compliance Service, International Relations Service. In 2006 and from 2008 to 2012 he held the position of Coordinator of the Finance and Budget Department.
He represented San Marino as part of various delegations in relations with the IMF, OECD, Moneyval and the EU, such as the EU of the SM-EU Monetary Convention and numerous agreements on tax matters.
In 2014 he was awarded, on the initiative of the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano, Knight of the Grand Cross decorated with the Grand Cordon.
