Altini Mattia
Mattia Altini was born in Forlì in 1974. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1999 and then obtained his specialization and PhD in Public Health and Preventive Medicine from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Among his various educational experiences, he attended the “Quality Management in Healthcare” course at Harvard Business School in Boston and the Master’s program in Healthcare Services Administration at the University of Montreal in Canada. He also completed a second-level university Master’s degree in Promotion and Governance of Research in Healthcare Companies and obtained a Management Training Certificate for General Directorates of Healthcare Companies in 2017.
Dr. Altini is the Scientific Secretary of the Emilia Romagna Regional Board of the National Association of Hospital Directors (ANMDO). He is also a board member of Agenas and has been the national president of the Italian Society of Leadership and Management in Medicine (SIMM) since 2018. He has held teaching positions in advanced training and university master’s programs at the universities of Urbino, “Sacro Cuore,” Ferrara, and Perugia.
Since November 2022, he has been the Director of Hospital Care for the Emilia Romagna Region.
Since June 2010, he has been the Health Director of IRST-IRCCS in Meldola (FO).
From July 2020 to December 2022, he served as the Health Director of the ASL Romagna.
