Francesco Acquaroli has been leading the Marche Region since September 30, 2020. Born on September 25, 1974, in Macerata, he holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and works as a financial consultant. He began his political involvement at a young age, always expressing a strong connection with the community and the region, and a particular focus on environmental protection and the enhancement of regional identity through the safeguarding of its peculiarities, excellences, and cultural, productive, and landscape heritage. He has served as a municipal councilor, mayor of his city Potenza Picena, regional councilor, and member of the Italian Parliament before being elected President of the Marche Region.
