MISSION
The first edition of the Meeting, which took place in 1980, was organized by a promoting committee that constituted into an association on December 8, 1980.
ARTICLES OF FOUNDATION
The “Meeting for friendship amongst peoples” Foundation was established on 31 March 2008 by deed drawn up by Notary Plescia of Rimini (index no. 47.236/7949, registered at the Inland Revenue Office of Rimini on 10 April 2008 under no. 4.919/I following the transformation of the legal status of the pre-existing Meeting for Friendship Amongst Peoples Association (Presidential Decree no. 869 dated 6 August 1986).
By decree of the Prefect of Rimini dated 25 June 2008 the registration of the “Meeting for friendship amongst peoples” Foundation was authorised in the Prefect’s corporate bodies register kept at the Rimini Prefecture, under no. 186.
SOCIAL CHARGES
The Meeting Foundation’s bodies are: the Members’ Assembly, the President of the Foundation, the Board of Directors, the Board of Auditors and the Director.

CODE OF ETHICS AND ORGANIZATIONAL MODEL
I proudly present the Code of Ethics of the Foundation Meeting for Friendship Amongst Peoples, where principles and reference criteria are defined – in an organic and unified way – in order to regulate the behaviour of directors, employees and all those who collaborate with the Foundation.
SUSTAINABILITY PLAN OF THE MEETING
In 2013 the Foundation Meeting published a Social Report with the intention of documenting the many activities carried out within the Meeting. Data from the first edition in 1980, in 1993, in 2003 – when the event moved to the Rimini exhibition halls – and 2013 were compared.
PUBLIC CONTRIBUTIONS
In compliance with Law 4 August 2017, no.124 art. 1, paragraphs 125-129 – Fulfilment of transparency and publicity obligations, we herewith attach the list of grants and contributions received in 2019 by the Foundation “Meeting for Friendship Amongst Peoples” from Public Administrations and other entities referred to in the above mentioned Law.
