TOURISM IS ESSENTIAL FOR ITALY, BUT WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR TOURISM?
Organized by Cdo.
Sergio Emidio Bini (Councillor for Tourism and Productive Activities, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region), Gianluca Caramanna (Ministry of Tourism), Maria Carmela Colaiacovo (President, Confindustria Alberghi), Giuseppe Roscioli (Vice President, Federalberghi). Moderated by Daniela Ciccardi (hotelier and CDO Tourism contact person).
The experience of Covid and the post-Covid period has raised significant questions among tourism operators. How to be people, entrepreneurs, facing reality while seeking answers to less material needs: the sense of work, attention to customer needs, the sense of hospitality, how to relate to collaborators, how to share responsibilities, seek real sustainability, … Above all, we have experienced the need not to feel alone, so seeking genuine and operational companionship with other entrepreneurs is crucial. Discovering the essential in our work in tourism is crucial: some entrepreneurs, starting from their own experience, will ask the speakers questions about their vision and the realities they represent regarding work, youth, training, social responsibility, sustainability, ethics, and solidarity.
