Not only is it the only pub open in a former mining town in northeast England, but it’s also the only public place where people can meet. TJ Ballantyne keeps it running with goodwill but risks losing some loyal patrons when Syrian refugees are welcomed into the neighborhood. TJ takes an interest in the young Yara, who has seen her beloved camera broken in an act of intolerance.
