This third session brings into focus the impact on society of labour market changes. A new social layreing is taking shape, will it be a source of greater integration and cohabitation or will it lead to further divisions and conflicts? An important step is to ask ourselves how we prepare and will prepare for new labour settings. This is a process requiring lifelong training and the ability to constantly put oneself at stake. Continuous learning relies on the capacity to make work meaningful. Are we ready to take up this challenge and can the already existing structures support us with the necessary services? The discussants: the minister of Education and the role of the university and those who have always had education at heart.
