“Peter Pan: love is a window that never closes.”
The exhibition offers an experiential journey that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Peter Pan, as envisioned by James Matthew Barrie. Specifically focusing on the second novel, “Peter Pan e Wendy,” in its complete version, the exhibition recreates the story, inviting participants to physically transition through different environments and engage in play at each space. In the book, play serves as a significant mode of connection that Peter employs with those he encounters. Symbolically, the exhibition incorporates a window, appearing at the beginning, within the story, and at the end, drawing attention to the optimistic possibilities within the protagonist’s initial experiences. This open window, a constant presence in Peter’s world, .. represents the moment when he must decide whether to embrace the inevitability of growing up and choosing reality, as Wendy did, despite the allure of eternal stillness.
