KOYASAN: The sacred mountain of Shingon Mikkyo Buddhism that Fr. Giussani so loved
The exhibit wants to document through life, religiosity, and art, the experience of the I in the relationship with the Mystery that makes all things, as lived by the Buddhist monks of Mount Koya, in Japan. This is an homage from reverend professor Shodo Habukawa to the memory of Father Giussani, 25 years after their first encounter which marked the beginning of a profound friendship and which blossomed into real ecumenism.
Curated by Shōdō Habukawa.
In collaboration with Wakako Saito.
With the contribution of Shuhei Matsuyama.
