The Jubilee is a period of transformation and healing, a time that slows down to offer hope and mercy. Every 25 or 50 years, it invites us to cross the Holy Door, representing a new possibility of life free from fragility and the shadows of evil. This opportunity for salvation rooted in Christian faith has been given to us for seven centuries and still today asks us to make this grace tangible with concrete actions.
The exhibition guides visitors as pilgrims through a journey that tells the history and value of Jubilees from 1300 to today with simple language that allows everyone to understand the historical and current importance of the event. The narration is enriched by ancient and especially contemporary artworks, creating an evocative dialogue between past and present. In this context, the Jubilee is presented not only as a religious event but as an opportunity for everyone to rediscover and live a promise of good and hope.
The exhibition is divided into four macro-sections organized around large artistic reproductions that accompany the historical narrative, structured as follows: the first steps, the pilgrim’s experience, the modern world’s construction site, and the 2025 Jubilee as a great occasion for reflection.
