We live and flourish within relationships. This is our human nature.
However, because of the Covid restrictions people have been isolated. This has been particularly true and concerning in the medical field. Mothers delivered alone because fathers were not allowed in delivery room, hospitalized patients missed the support of their families’ visit. Worse, people died alone. Isolation hit also medical professionals, with a high rate of depression, abandonment of the work place and sometimes, suicide.
All of this happened because, for both patients and medical professionals, relationships are the source of support even in dramatic circumstances.
In time of pandemic, were there people who had the courage to say ‘I’ and decided ‘to be there for each other’ achieving thus the truth of oneself?
