FOR LIFE: A RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYONE, A TASK FOR ALL
Elvira Parravicini (Director, Neonatal Comfort Care Program, Professor of Pediatrics, Columbia University Medical Center), Luciano Violante (President, Leonardo-Civiltà delle Macchine Foundation). Introduction by Andrea Simoncini (Vice President, Foundation Meeting for the Friendship Among Peoples ETS, Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Florence).
The theme of life struggles to assert itself. The socio-cultural context we live in increasingly sees life less as an immense and free gift and more as a performance to be carried out only under certain conditions. The meeting aims to revive the question of how to promote and (where possible) guarantee a dignified life for every person, in any situation, highlighting the responsibility of each individual up to the responsibility of those who manage public affairs.
