‘The exhibition tackles some of the most neglected and undervalued aspects concerning the environment, settlements and tools of the Ligurian interior, near Tigullio. The aim is to show how the environment of the interior is the result of a precise deployment of all local resources throughout the centuries, following a conscious relationship between man and nature. This relationship has generated a clearly identifiable and recognisable culture. The exhibition is divided into the following sections: environment, houses, materials, and constructive, as well as symbolic, elements of the home.’
