The meeting focuses on the development of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) one year after the enactment of the relevant regulations. We analyze the level of success achieved and what prevailing conception of RECs is emerging. We believe that RECs represent a valuable support for the educational and charitable social realities operating in our country. In fact, the REC is a very concrete tool (though often misunderstood) that bases its balance on a set of benefits (environmental, economic, social) that must necessarily be considered in a unified manner. Through the REC, an “alliance” can be established between the business world, the third sector, and public administration for the common good.
