Discovering True Friendship… in the Company of Greek Myth
Through reading and play, children will be introduced to the Greek myth of Phintias and Damon. These two young individuals were bound by a deep friendship, which not only saved their lives from the threat of death by Dionysus, the tyrant of Syracuse, but also impacted the cruel ruler to the extent that he desired to become their friend.
