‘This title explains synthetically the two sections of the exhibition which consists of ‘Photographs from Ex- Yugoslavia’ by Romano Cagnoni. The pictures in fact represent both the destruction of monuments (in Vukovar, Lipik, Dubrovnik, etc..) and the innocence of children, photographed in Sarojevo in August ’92 and April ’93 in different refugee comps of Ex-Yugoslavia. The author was said to be one of the five most talented photographers in the world by Harold Evans, a former editor of London ‘Sunday Times’.’
