The 45th edition of the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples, titled “If we are not after the essence, then what are we after?” will take place from Tuesday, August 20 to Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Rimini Fair Center (via Emilia 155 - 47921 Rimini).
Entry and parking are free.
Notes for Fair Access
By Car/Bus
Rimini is located on the A14 Milan-Bari Highway (www.autostrade.it) and is served by two exits: Rimini North (6 km from the Fair) and Rimini South (7 km from the Fair).
South Entrance: via Emilia 155
West Entrance: via San Martino in Riparotta corner of via Turchetta
Free Car Parking
There are 8,000 free car parking spaces near the South and West entrances. Parking for disabled visitors, campers, and buses is available in the Park West area (via San Martino in Riparotta corner of via Turchetta).
The camper areas do not have electrical hookups.
By Motorcycle
South Entrance: via Emilia 155
West Entrance: via San Martino in Riparotta corner of via Turchetta
Free motorcycle parking is available near the South and West entrances.
By Train
The RiminiFiera station is located on the Milan-Bari line, 50 meters from the Fairgrounds entrance, with an automatic ticketing service. In addition to the regular schedule (for info and schedules, visit www.trenitalia.com), the following additional stops are planned during the Meeting:
You can plan your trip on the Trenitalia website by entering Riminifiera as the departure or destination. If you arrive at Rimini central station, you can reach the Fair (South entrance) with bus no. 9.
By Plane
Federico Fellini International Airport of Rimini - San Marino is about 10 km away and is connected to the Fair by bus line no. 9.
Other nearby airports include Ancona (about 100 km), Bologna (about 100 km), and Forlì (about 50 km).
Shuttle Service
During the event, the Rimini Fair will be connected to the rest of the city with a shuttle service. You can find schedules and routes by clicking on the following lines:
Tickets can be purchased at the Meeting ticket office in the South Hall atrium outside the Rimini Fair (South entrance near the terminus) and at all authorized START Romagna ticket offices throughout the province. Tickets allow access to both the Meeting shuttle service and all public line transport services of Start Romagna in the province of Rimini according to the zone and/or temporal validity and for each type of ticket purchased.
How to participate
How to Participate
To access the Fair pavilions, you must create an entry ticket containing a personal QR code via the Meeting Rimini App or from the website www.meetingrimini.org (desktop version only): the service is available from July 15, 2024.
If you have difficulty generating the ticket, you can create it directly at the Fair by visiting the Help Desks (South and West entrances).
The entry ticket is created once and is valid for the entire duration of the Meeting.
App Meeting Rimini
The "Meeting Rimini" app (available on Google Play, App Store e Huawei Store App) is the main tool for experiencing the Meeting. Download or update the Meeting Rimini app on your smartphone and follow the instructions to register and create your agenda.
Note: Children under 14 must be registered by their parents and associated with their profile. Minors between 14 and 18 years old can register independently but need parental authorization to make reservations. The parent, of course, must have the app.

Conferences
Exhibitions
Visits to the exhibitions, including guided tours, are free. Exhibitions are open daily from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM. The last bookable guided tour is at around 10:00 PM; however, it is possible to visit the exhibitions until the pavilions close.
Starting August 1, you can book your visit through the app for yourself and others by selecting the day and time; only available slots will be shown based on the number of people you want to book for.

Performances
The Meeting performances will take place at the Fair and at the Galli Theater (Piazza Cavour, historic center of Rimini). The complete program of shows is available here.

Kids Village
Admission to the Kids Village (Pavilion B3) is free. The Village will be open throughout the Meeting week from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Sport
Services for people with disabilities
The Rimini Fairgrounds are equipped to welcome visitors with disabilities: reserved parking (West entrances), barrier-free entrances, adapted restrooms, and a train station accessible by elevator.
A free wheelchair rental service is available: wheelchairs cannot be reserved and can be requested at the Info Point in the South Hall upon presentation of an ID and phone number.
First Aid Service
During opening hours, a first aid service is active in Pavilion D1.
Digital Experience
The digital access to the Meeting content is free. You can visit the website www.meetingrimini.org to consult the program of conferences, exhibitions, and shows, read news, listen to BookCorner podcasts, and discover dining options; during the event, you can listen to Meeting Plus Radio and consult the Daily.
Most scheduled events will be available live in Italian, English, and Spanish both on the website and on the Meeting’s YouTube channel. Subsequently, many events will also be available on-demand in other languages.

Simultaneous Translation
To follow the conferences with simultaneous translation in the rooms, you will use the Meeting Rimini app by simply clicking on at the top right of the event card.
The use of earphones in the room is mandatory (to avoid disturbing other participants): personal earphones that fit your mobile phone are required (if you don't have any, they can be found at the Dona Ora desks). We also suggest carrying a power bank for recharging your smartphone.
