Cittadella dello Sport B5/D5

The Rimini Meeting 2024, thanks to the historic collaboration with the Centro Sportivo Italiano, offers a wide program of sports activities suitable for everyone, both adults and children. This year, the sports pavilions double in size, offering activities such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, and space for games like foosball, mini-golf, and teqball. For those who wish to try new experiences and learn new sports, there are camps that can be booked via an app. Thanks to the presence of Bertram Derthona (Serie A Basketball) and Gestione Cittadella srl, there will be a basketball and mini-basketball school for children and teenagers from 7 to 19 years old. There will be space for those who love racket sports such as pickleball, badminton, and table tennis. The wrestling mat, accessible to young people aged 6 to 14, allows an introduction to Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling techniques under the guidance of masters. The experts from Cdo Sport propose roundnet, inline skating, and ultimate frisbee. Additionally, starting this year, the chess and checkers school allows participants to get closer to this game of concentration and strategy. A special technological area will allow participants to experience sports virtually with the latest generation headsets.

Special events and tournaments further enrich the schedule: the Memorial Fabbri & Tadei five-a-side football tournament for boys aged 11 to 14, basketball tournaments, chess tournaments, and a burraco tournament. There will also be sports exhibitions such as the show proposed by the Riccione Gymnastics Team and moments of discussion on inclusive sports and combating youth bullying.

This wide range of sports activities is designed to involve participants of all ages, offering opportunities for fun, learning, and personal growth in a context of socialization and sharing.
