“If we are not after the essence, then what are we after?”

On the path that will lead us to the 2024 Meeting, the sports area is also ready to be challenged by the question of the title. What is really essential in physical activity, both amateur and competitive?

At the next Meeting we will find a large area dedicated to the sport to be practiced, to competitive challenges but also to dialogue on the sports issues at hand.

The historic collaboration with the Centro Sportivo Italiano -Italian Sports Centre- will continue for a sport that promotes, protects, welcomes and integrates, because education also passes through sport! Football, volleyball, chess, table tennis and many surprises await us in the halls of the fair.

After the great success of the last edition, 2024 will once again see basketball as the protagonist: our partner Derthona Basket, a team in the Serie A League, not only confirms the collaboration, but relaunches it.

In the video, the general manager of the club Ferencz Bartocci announces great news, in the pavilions of the Meeting but also outside the Fair.

The theme of inclusive sport will still be central speaking of Baskin, but there will also be proposals born in the Cittadella dello sport in Tortona, the new home of Derthona Basket (a 5 thousand spectator arena, multi-purpose courts, restaurants and leisure spaces), a forward-looking project to which all Italian basketball looks with interest.
