Through this creative workshop, children will enhance their divergent thinking, which is an open and flexible intellectual process. It involves sensitivity towards concrete or abstract problems, real or imaginary, the ability to generate and connect ideas, and originality in creating hypotheses, projects, and useful solutions. They will develop the capacity to redefine and restructure their own experiences and knowledge in novel ways. Working in groups, they will overcome conflicts through discussion and the search for optimal solutions. They will strengthen their self-esteem by fostering independent thinking and expand their vocabulary by sharing their personal lexical repertoire with the group. Finally, they will deepen their awareness of their own emotions, cultivating a special attentiveness to diversity as an expression of each individual’s unique characteristics and as a means of embracing the differences of others.
