Through this creative laboratory, children will train divergent thinking understood as a flexible and open intellectual process, which denotes a particular sensitivity to concrete or abstract, real or imaginary problems, the ability to produce and connect ideas and originality in devising hypotheses, projects and useful solutions, ability to define and structure one’s own experiences and knowledge in a new way. They will work in groups, overcoming conflicts through discussion and the search for optimal solutions, they will strengthen their self-esteem by acquiring independence of thought and they will expand their vocabulary, sharing their personal lexical baggage with the group. Finally, they will deepen the awareness of their own emotions, developing particular attention to diversity understood both as a possibility of expressing the distinctive features of each and as an acceptance of the differences of others.
