Mikhail Shishkin is a Russian writer and is considered one of the major contemporary authors in his country. His novels, translated into many languages, have received critical acclaim and gained popularity among readers. He currently resides in Zurich. He has won several awards, including the National Bestseller Prize, the Grinzane Cavour Prize, and the European Strega Prize in 2022. Some of his works translated into Italian include “Capelvenere,” “La presa di Izmail,” and “Lezione di calligrafia,” all published by Voland. In 2022, his book “Punto di fuga” was released by “21lettere”.
