“One heart and one mind” (Acts 2:42). The Servants of Mary: eight centuries in the Church
Sunday, August 22, 2010 – Sunday, August 22, 2010
Pavilion C5
Through primary sources and audio-visual material, this exhibit describes the events of the foundation of the Order of the Servants of Mary, born almost eight centuries ago from a “small community of fraternal souls” (Paul VI), at the service of the Church and the world through the charism of service to Mary and the fraternity. The rich and complicated history of the order, present and active in the five continents and from which monasteries, fraternities, and congregations have been born, will be documented also through the reproduction of precious medieval icons.
Curated by the General Council of the Order of the Servants of Mary.
